Your Battle Engine is equipped with many weapons, along with having transformation into an aircraft given the need for it. It's pretty great in that regard, and replayability is high because of it. Do you destroy this weapon and let the other get away? You'll face a new crisis in the next missions, and if you replay and get the other, a whole slew of new content awaits you. The story is almost episodic for the most part as its divided into chapters, and has a cool mechanic that the story can split off into special missions depending on a choice you make. Each mission you're tasked with an objective, but there's no reason you can't put it on hold for a moment to go help your troops advance into another sector or go destroy the plants making the mechs being thrown at you. This had the frontline pushing system before Frontlines: Fuel of War.
